I was not happy with how I looked or felt and needed to get back into fitness. Jim found your place and started going and told me how he liked the classes and brought me to a Saturday morning class to try it out. It wasn't easy at first but I look forward to it, most days! hahaha!
My favorite class is the strength and technique classes with Tricia. I really like the heavy lifting and it's such an empowering feeling seeing how strong you actually are! Second is the 45 min morning classes because they add in core at the end, as long as the burpees and Bulgarian split squats are at a minimum. I hate those, just ask Scott!
Of course, I would like to lose a few more pounds before the holidays, I’m already down 15, but I guess my main goal would be to stay consistent with my workouts and continue to improve my overall fitness.
Just show up. No one expects perfection and sometimes all I got in me is to show up, but I always feel better after class. All the trainers are there for you and willing to answer questions and go over the exercises AGAIN when I ask even though I’m 180 classes in.
I make a mean cheesecake, and I love to bake. I've had a wide variety of jobs through the years. I've been a lifeguard, worked for a movie studio, a prison food distribution company and have done home daycare, among other things. I’ve been married to Jim for 30 years and we have 3 children.
