I had two things happen in August of 2022 that relit my fire to rebuild the best me. First, was not being able to do the monkey bars with my son. It was then I realized how out of shape I’d gotten. Then, a few days later, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which put fuel to the fire.
My favorites are burpees and man-makers which seem to be the least favorite to some.
My fitness goal is to be better than the day before and to be able to dominate my kids athletically for as long as I can and to be a good example of healthy living.
My advice to someone new would be to not get overwhelmed by all the new and sometimes strange exercises and focus on the technique vs. volume of weight and reps.
A funny thing about me is that I’ll make a sandwich out of odd random combinations at dinner if there's rolls or bread included.
